2023 summer / 10 weeks


	 Spring is not always a time of growth and vitality, but studies have shown that it is also a time of peak depression and suicide due to circadian rhythms, etc. 
On 4 April 2023 four young men, all migrant workers, chose to jump off a cliff at the Tianmen Mountain glass stack in Zhangjiajie. 
It seems that migrant workers have always been a marginalised and neglected group in China. But I noticed that within this large and heavy group of people there was a group of exaggeratedly oddly dressed but exceptionally optimistic and happy people who shared a common name, the Smarts. 
Through observation, I found that "grass" is in some way similar to the group of Smarts. So I combined the grass with the colourful hair of the Smarts, and through the medium of wind and sound, expressed the mentality and situation of the Smarts in the urban factory.

2023 Autumn / 10 weeks
	
"Viewing is an important way of interacting with the world. Ancient Chinese literati not only used their eyes to observe, but also used their senses and imagination to understand the world by gazing at it. The modern way of viewing focuses more on the singularity of vision, stripping away the other senses and acquiring more information by glancing at it. I use the car window as a medium and combine it with the eye-tracking device to create a new viewing experience, switching between static and dynamic observation. Fusion of ancient and modern, rich interaction.
